Cap Hill
Capitol Hill, also referred to as Cap Hill, has a perfect blend of old Historic Denver charm and architecture, alongside new urban developments, nightlife and walkable city blocks. Cap Hill is considered by many to be the cultural heart of Denver and for good reason. Here you you can find a Trader Joe’s grocery store right down the street from the Governor’s Mansion and other historic landmarks.
South Cap Hill blends into Alamo Placita along 6th Ave, where you can walk to various coffee shops, and restaurants, such as the hip and new mediterranean fares at Logan Street Restaurant and Bar, or Luca, where you’ll find upscale Italian dining.
North Cap Hill along with the Golden Triangle, encompasses most of Denver’s finest museums, such as the Denver Art Museum and Clyfford Still Museum. You’ll find yourself walking city blocks with turn of the century historic mansions, tall apartment complexes as well as quaint townhomes and single family homes that have been brought back to their original character.
If you enjoy the nightlife, along East Colfax, you can see just about any performance at the Ogden Theatre, or Fillmore Auditorium. Whether you want to pop into a local dive bar or night club, or enjoy a family concert in the summertime at Civic Center Park, your entertainment options are limitless in Cap Hill and Golden Triangle.
If your goal is to immerse yourself in one of Denver’s hottest cultural hubs, and still find a classic home or condo with charm, then Cap Hill should certainly be on your radar.
